CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RIVERSIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS!! During Riverside Reading Dog Bailey’s March reading challenge, the students logged over 16,100 HOURS READING. Students collected change with several bringing in their piggy banks to help raise ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR’S!!! ELMIRA SAVINGS BANK then matched that amount and The Kramer Foundation was presented with a $2,000 check!!!!

It didn’t end there… JOSHUA FUKSMAN of FINGER LAKES SIGN AND DESIGN donated a KRAMER FOUNDATION logo sign and t-shirt designed and printed at their business. The morning ended with the therapy dogs visiting classrooms to read with and congratulate students on a job well done. How absolutely inspiring it was to see an entire staff support their students with a school wide celebration of their hard work. GREAT work BAILY and handler SARA VAKIENER for an outstanding uplifting morning.

Thank you to CHERYL RUNYAN with NORA, DEB DIETERLE with LACEY, JEAN JESSUP with EMMA and my trustworthy sidekick AMITA for making this a day to remember for these hardworking students
